Beveridge, Washington, D.C.;{2} given to the John Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis, Indiana, now the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, in 1938. {1} An inscription on the back of the frame suggests it was in the possession of this Hamburg poet. {2} Mrs. Albert J. Beveridge (Catherine Eddy Beveridge), widow of the Indiana Senator, gave eight paintings to the IMA in 1938, all of which were formerly in the collection of her aunt, Mrs. Marshall Fields.
