尗夜X其饒鼎,以征以行,用 用 [羹],X用祈X壽無彊。叔夜鼎。
The inscription on the right is from a ritual vessel of a tripod shape that was widely known from rubbings.
曾子質孝,以通神明,貫感神祗。著于來方,后世凱式。武梁祠像題字。 筠谷大兄屬臨。 石谿,黃子高。
The inscription on the left is from the Wu Liang shrine. Built about AD 150, rubbings of its engraved pictures were collected since the Song dynasty, 960-1279.
The original inscriptions from which these are reproduced are separated by several hundred years.
