rug

This rug is an early example of rugs that have a five-petalled ivory flower design (mina khani).

The field is covered by openly spaced flower and vine designs. A condensed version of the field pattern appears in the main border in reverse colors of blue on red. The fine kilim ends depict chevron patterns.
