(possibly William Esdaile, 1758-1837, Lugt 816) Inscribed in sepia ink, verso, lower right: P. mariette 1672 (Pierre Mariette II, 1634-1716, Lugt 1787) Stamp in black ink, verso, lower left and lower right, with the mark of the Viscount de Montfort (Lugt 1035) Inscribed in ink, verso, lower left: gen.al V.te de Montfort (Lugt 1822) Stamp in black ink, verso, lower right, with the mark of Joseph-Guillaume Cambarlyn (1783-1861, Lugt 514) Stamp in black ink, verso, lower center, with the mark of Charles Delanglade (b. 1870, Lugt 660).
