Ivan Podgoursky [1901-1962], New York, New York);{1} Dr. George Henry Alexander Clowes [1877-1958], Indianapolis, Indiana, about 1947; Clowes Fund Collection, Indianapolis, and on long-term loan to the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields since 1971 (C10080); given to the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, in 2019. {1} Count Ivan Podgoursky, at times affiliated with Demotte Gallery, New York, sold many works of art to G.H.A. Clowes in the 1940s and 1950s. For information on Podgoursky, see his obituary in the New York Times, 23 April 1962.
