Hudibras In Tribulation

Hudibras and Ralpho are forced to ransom Crowdero and take his place in the pillory. A wealthy widow, whom Hudibras loves, visits them in their disgrace. Hudibras promises that if she will free them, he will submit to a flogging.

Purchased with money from the John Herron Fund for the John Herron Art Institute, now the Indianapolis Museum of Art, in 1911.
