Hudibras And The Lawyer

Hudibras engages a lawyer to plead his case that he had been wronged by Sidrophel and the widow. The lawyer takes him on as a client, but Hudibras’s false claims are quickly discredited.

Purchased with money from the John Herron Fund for the John Herron Art Institute, now the Indianapolis Museum of Art, in 1911.
