The various small animals and the scrolling vines and flowers, especially carnations, show the direct influence of imported Indian and Persian textiles, which were popular during the 18th century. in addition, there are four double headed eagles positioned on each side in the middle, while a crowned lion is also depicted in the center of the piece. The inscription on the top center near the inner winding scroll, reads:
