Dress

Jean Paul Gaultier, Designer (French, 1952-)

Gaultier used nylon mesh fabric to create a dress that expands and conforms to the figure when it’s worn. The print, which mimics the contours of the female body, changes when the dress is worn by different individuals.

(Kerry Taylor Auction, United Kingdom, Passion for Fashion Sale December 13, 2007, lot153, 1 of 3); IMA.
