The approximately 20 posters in this exhibition, by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Alfons Mucha, Jules Chéret, Pierre Bonnard, Felix Vallotton, Paul Berthon and others, document the early history of this modern art form. Created in Paris during the Belle Époque -- the last decades of the 19th-century and the years leading up to World War I -- posters by these artists and others were so popular that the publishers printed overruns to sell to collectors. Included in this exhibition is Toulouse-Lautrecs Moulin Rouge La Goulue, the symbol of Belle Époque Paris.
