Mead from Frank E. Pither indicates that this object was "acquired from Sotheby and Co., London, during 1928." {2} According to the Lincoln Financial Group website, Franklin B. Mead, Sr. was vice-president of the Fort Wayne, Indiana insurance company Lincoln National Corporation, now a subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group. {3} IMA Temporary Receipt No. 4522.
